I built the instrument in 1987 as a 10-course Renaissance lute. In 1998 I converted it into an arciliuto.
This year, the instrument was brought to me for an inspection. Only a few optical touch-ups were necessary, otherwise it is in perfect condition. The playability is very good. Since I checked the pegs using peg soap tuning is easy and precise.
The instrument has not been played for several years and now needs to be played again in order to develop its tonal potential . This is completely normal, because instruments fall asleep when they are put aside for some time.
The price for the Arciliuto without case is €2500,- You can order a simple case or a shaped case from me. A soft case is of course also possible.
You can try out the instrument here with me. Of course also in the evening or at the weekend. Please call or write an email beforehand. (info@lautenbau.de)
